Website Service Terms

Built for Plasterers provides website design services to UK trade businesses, principally plasterers, enquiring for business purposes. These terms apply to the Lead Generation Website package.

The Lead Generation Website (£800) includes up to five professionally designed pages, mobile-friendly responsive design, a strong lead-generation page structure, clear calls to action, individual service-page content, project photograph and completed-work sections, customer-review sections, a quote/enquiry form with basic customer vetting questions, local SEO foundations, page titles and meta descriptions, Google Analytics setup, Google Search Console setup, domain connection, two revision rounds, final mobile and desktop testing, and launch support. Additional pages can be added for £100 per page. Anything beyond this scope is additional work (see below).

You must supply accurate business details, your services and working areas, photographs of your work, genuine customer reviews, your logo (if you have one) and timely feedback. You confirm that any reviews and images you supply are genuine and that you have the right to use them.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. If your project is accepted, we will send you a secure link to pay the £400 booking payment. The booking payment secures your build slot. Payments are processed through Stripe's hosted checkout; we never see or store your card details.

The remaining £400 final payment is due before the finished website is published. The website will not be published, transferred or handed over until the final payment is made in full.

Work begins once the booking payment has been received and we have the information we need from you to start.

We will give you an estimated timescale when your project is accepted. Timescales are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on how quickly you supply content and feedback.

The Lead Generation Website includes two revision rounds before launch. A revision round is a single consolidated list of changes. Further rounds can be quoted as additional work.

Work outside the package scope — such as extra pages, copywriting, logo design, photography or changes beyond the included revision rounds — is quoted separately and always agreed with you before it is carried out.

We will send you a preview of your website before launch. Launch takes place only after you have approved the preview and paid the remaining balance.

Your domain is registered in your name and paid for by you directly to the registrar. You are responsible for renewals. If you already own a domain, we will need access to wherever it is registered in order to connect it. Domain costs are separate from the package price.

Hosting is provided through third-party platforms and may carry its own costs, paid by you directly to the provider. We provide setup guidance, but ongoing hosting accounts, renewals and charges are your responsibility. Hosting is not free forever and prices are set by the provider.

Once the build is complete and paid for in full, you own the agreed website deliverables and receive access to your website project, subject to the applicable licence, transfer and hosting terms of the platform it is built on. Until final payment, the work remains ours.

If you do not supply the information or feedback we need, we may pause your project. We will always tell you first. A paused project resumes when the outstanding information arrives; long delays may affect the agreed timescale.

You may cancel before work begins for a full refund of the booking payment. Once work has begun, the booking payment is non-refundable because design time has been committed. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy for full details.

Refunds are handled as set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

If the remaining balance is not paid when due, we may pause or stop work and will not launch or hand over the website. We will give you reasonable notice and the opportunity to pay before taking further steps.

Your website may rely on third-party services such as domain registrars, hosting platforms, Google Analytics and Stripe. These have their own terms and charges, which are your responsibility. We are not responsible for changes, outages or price increases made by third-party providers.

We build websites with good on-page SEO structure, but we do not guarantee search engine rankings, enquiry volumes or business results. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the package. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
